Organic Swiss Chard - 250g
Similar to spinach and beets with a flavor that is bitter, pungent and slightly salty. Although Swiss chard is available throughout the year, its season runs from June through September when it is at its best and in the greatest abundance.
Provenance: Judy Pearce grows organic vegetables from her smallholding in Rodney Stoke. The good soil of the Cheddar Valley and sunny south facing aspect all help.
