The Blackmoor Vale is an area straddled across the Dorset and Somerset border, and Home Farm select only the best quality grass fed meats from family farms for the discerning customer.

The top rump or thick flank is a lean cut that is ideal for roasting and is the perfect Sunday roast with a rich flavour, or can be sliced to provide an inexpensive frying steaks.

To roast, preheat oven to 220c and roast for 20 minutes, turn heat down to 170c and continue to roast for between 30 minutes and 1 hour, depending upon how rare you prefer your meat.
