The Longman family have been farmers and farmhouse cheesemakers in the Vale of Camelot for over two centuries.
In the 1930s the current generations great grandfather, William Longman, started expanding the family business of farmhouse cheese making through the partnership system of farming yet without losing any of the established traditions. William Longman was awarded a MBE for Service to Agriculture in 1964, this was achieved through sheer hard work and commitment. This wealth of experience means that Longmans have a unique knowledge of cheese and dairy products through to the present day.
The family established a wholesale cheese business in 1999 and now distribute cheese across the south of England.
