Home Farm at Kingweston is run by Ashley’s brother, Harvey and the family have been there for over 100 years. Ashley runs the farm shop and supplies high quality Somerset meat to other local farm shops and to discerning hotels and restaurants.
“We have always had a passion for good quality locally produced food. All our quality meats are from the local area, reared to the highest welfare standards, and are traditionally hand prepared and hung to develop their tenderness and flavour.”
Pork comes from outdoor reared pigs belonging to James Mitchell at Rumwell near Taunton, lamb from several farms in the Taunton area and beef, usually Red Devon breed, from the Blackmore Vale on the Somerset/Dorset border.
