Richard Green from Green’s of Glastonbury produces a powerfully nutty farmhouse flavoured Cheddar. Based in West Pennard at the foot of Glastonbury Tot, he and his family has been making cheese for around 100 years since his grandparents moved to the area to take tenancy of a small dairy farm.
Richard has been involved in farming all his life and has been making cheese since leaving school. As his family has been making cheese for 4 generations and some of his relatives have done nothing else, taking over the business was all he ever wanted to do.
