Somerset Asparagus 250g
Few vegetables can compare in flavour with tender fresh asparagus.Wash carefully so as not to damage the tips and trim woody parts from the base of the stems. Tie in bundles and stand in salted
boiling water for 10-12 minutes. Keep tips above the water.
Our bunches could be stored in poly bags to prevent them drying out. They will stay in good condition for around 5 days and should be kept in the refrigerator.
Delicious alternative to soldiers when dipped into soft boiled eggs.
Or try it with Hollandaise Sauce

C R Pardoe
Bridgwater
Robin Pardoe is primarily a producer of game fowl, but he also grows asparagus and rhubarb. Mr Pardoe is fortunate in having both light sandy soils for the asparagus and richer soils for his rhubarb.
