Burcott Mill produces Somerset1s only traditionally milled organic wholemeal stoneground flour. It is accredited by the Soil Association and is a member of Levels1 Best which recognises the very best of food produced in the heart of Somerset. Burcott Mill is a working water-powered flour mill, reconstructed by Devon craftsmen in 1864. There has been a mill on this site for over 1,000 years and few such watermills still operate commercially today. We now specialise in the production of 100% wholemeal stoneground organic flour made from organic English wheat grain.Visitors are welcome to tour the mill at weekends from Easter to the end of September. There is an admission charge.
