Our unique structure - a trading company and a development charity working together - gives us a distinctive perspective on how trade can be made to work for the poor. Traidcraft pioneers the development of fair trade by: building lasting relationships with small-scale producers in developing countries supporting people to trade out of poverty working to bring about trade justice being open and transparent about our practices. Traidcraft has been fighting poverty through trade since 1979 and over the next five years we aim to increase our impact on poverty by trebling the value of our purchases from fair trade suppliers in the developing world and trebling the volume of our charitable project and advocacy work
